Semi-recessed waste receptacles have exclusively an open top drop waste function. Recessed and semi-recessed receptacles have tumbler locks to prevent unauthorized removal. Surface mount containers feature an open top design as well. Surface mount receptacles are installed through keyholes slots on the back of the container. One unique surface mount model is the corner mounted restroom waste receptacle which is great for owners who are interested in utilizing all of their space.
