• Tabletop mail sorter's interior and exterior shell and vertical dividers are constructed of 3/4" 45-50 lb. substrate (particle board) with thermally fused finish and matching or complimentary 3/8" PVC on exposed edges
• Steel shelves have a 90 degree 1/2" lip label area with center cut out
• Letter depth (12 1/4") mail sorter weighs 120 lbs. whereas legal depth (16 1/4") mail sorter weighs 175 lbs. (note open back mail sorter may weigh slightly less)
• Legal and letter size mail sort modules include one shelf (adjustable in 1" increments) for every three inches allowing 2 1/2" clearance between shelves
• Internal mail sorter housing hardware to hold shelves in place generally referred to as standards are painted black
• Unit size: 19 1/2"H x 62 3/8"W x 12 1/4"D (letter size) or 16 1/4" (legal size)
• Open back mail organizers feature a 1/2" label area on the front and back of each shelf
• Mail sorters can be stacked with a unit of equal width and depth 
• Depth can be ordered in letter size (12 1/4") or legal size (16 1/4") which allows a net opening for letter sort modules of 11 1/4"W x 11 1/4"D or legal sorters of 11 1/4"W x 15 1/4"D
• Letter or legal size modules have twenty five shelves with 30 openings and weighs 120 lbs.
• Allow 3 to 4 weeks for production (lead-times can flucuate during peak season)

Mail Sorter Type

(STANDARD) Closed back mail sorters are open on one side of the unit for document distribution and closed on the other side. This is the most common type of mail organizer in the marketplace.

(NO EXTRA COST) Open back mail sorters are open on both sides for document distribution. Pocket opening identification can be done on either or both sides of the organizer. Often, open back mail sorters are recessed into a wall by end users.

Label Holder Option

(+$30.00) Label holders allow the end user to identify each pocket opening. If this option is selected you will be furnished with the appropriate amount of clear plastic label holders with double sided tape and cardboard inserts for personalized marking for each opening.

Finish for Sorter Shelves

(STANDARD) Finishes for sorter shelves are an electrostatic powder coat paint that is endorsed by the EPA. All paint finishes are price identically. Color chips are available at no charge upon request.

Melamine Finish for Sorter Shell

(STANDARD) The exterior and interior of the mail sorter has a melamine finish which provides durability and appearance benefits. A matching PVC tape is applied to the exposed edges to finish off the unit. All standard melamine finishes are priced at the same.
